SciPhone N12 Android device

SciPhone N12 communicator will become available in next few days. IT has classic shape factor and nice set of technical features – 3.2 inch touch screen, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, 624 MHz CPU, TV tuner, Wi-Fi module, GPS and third generation network standards support. It was expected that this mobile device would run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional but the operating system of this communicator is Android.

TINNO T300A budget class phone

Shenzhen TINNO Mobile Technology has just announced TINNO T300A mobile phone, which has already passed FCC. This mobile phone belongs to budget devices class but has nice design and other interesting features. One of them is special buttons to control FM radio on back side. There is also loud speaker. The producer didn’t provide information about technical characteristics. But we know that TINNO T300A has Bluetooth 2.0 module, microSD memory card slot and GSM networks support.

Samsung Omnia II

Samsung Omnia II which is also known as Samsung I8000 is one of devices announced by Samsung recently. This phone features 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen which covers almost all front surface of the device. The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional but it can be updated to Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional in future. Another remarkable feature is pre-installed TouchWiz 2.0 user interface. Other characteristics are Samsung ARM1176 S3C6410 667 MHz CPU, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, 0.3 Mp additional camera for video calls, 140 Mb RAM, 8 Gb ROM, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and 3.5 mm audio jack. Supported network standards are GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 2100 MHz. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date and price.

Nokia 3710 fold announce

Today Nokia announced some new mobile phones. One of them is Nokia 3710 fold. It is positioned as stylish mobile device with modern set of technical characteristics. This clamshell phone has 2.2 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 1.36 additional screen with 128x160 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocusing and flash, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, FM radio with RDS, 70 Mb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 2.5 mm audio jack and GPS module. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS/ EGPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA 900/1700/2100 MHz. Nokia 3710 fold will become available by the end of this year and will cost €140.

Samsung m340 Mantra

Samsung Electronics together with Virgin Mobile has just announced new budget class mobile phone – Samsung m340 Mantra. Nevertheless this clamshell device looks good. The list of technical characteristics corresponds to price of this phone - $60. Samsung m340 Mantra has 2 inch TFT internal screen, 1 inch CSTN external screen with 96x96 px resolution, 0.3 Mp camera, 8 Mb memory and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP.

Samsung Crest Solar

Samsung Crest Solar mobile phone doesn’t have impressive set of technical features – 1.52 inch screen with 128x128 px CSTN screen, FM radio, torch and 800 mAh battery. The main feature of this device is not big touch screen but built in solar battery. It provides 5-10 minutes of active using after 1 hour in the sun. For the present this mobile phone is available only in India and costs $59.

Casio Exilim C721

Verizon has just officially announced some new mobile phones. One of them is Casio Exilim C721. The case of this clamshell phone corresponds to Mil-Spec 810F military standard – this phone is water, dust and stress resistant. Besides future owners of this mobile device can not care about temperature conditions. The list of technical features is also impressive -Casio Exilim C721 mobile phone has 5.1 Mp camera with 3x digital zoom and flash, 2.3 inch turning screen with 240x320 px screen, microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb) and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. Supported network standards are CDMA/1xRTT/EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 MHz. Casio Exilim C721 will cost $280 and will become available by the end of this month.
